Law and Leadership Institute
The University of Akron School of Law serves as one of the sites for the statewide Law and Leadership Institute. The Law and Leadership Institute is a pipeline program designed to increase diversity in law school and in the legal profession. The program seeks students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who attend urban under-served schools. The students enroll as rising ninth-graders and continue in the program until they graduate from high school. The students attend a summer program and an academic year program. For more information about the program, you may visit the Law and Leadership Institute website at www.lawandleadership.org/.
Students who have completed the eighth grade may apply here, or download the flier/application.
Applications will be accepted through April 15, 2014.
